BEST ARBOR PRESS ON THE MARKET

  • Most components are precision CNC-machined from solid stainless steel billets, resulting in an ultra-heavy-duty construction that is significantly stronger and more rigid than other arbor presses on the market.
  • Both the ram rod and column are precision centerless ground for exceptional accuracy and a precise fit. The ram rod and column bores are machined to tight tolerances and verified using go/no-go gauges, ensuring absolutely zero wobble during operation.
  • Equipped with dual SKF bearings, the press delivers exceptionally smooth and consistent operation.
  • The ram rod pressing face is precision surface-ground on a custom jig using a surface grinding machine. This ensures the pressing surface remains perfectly parallel to the base surface for maximum precision and alignment.
  • A detent ball bearing mechanism is integrated into the arbor to ensure precise alignment every time the height is adjusted.
  • The arbor can also be configured for left-handed users with a small amount of DIY modification.

Note – Due to its weight – 3.5kg – this will be shipped directly from Australia. If you have additional small items as part of your order, they will be sent directly from Fairlie if in stock.

Why get an Arbor Press? Or you can call it an In-Line seater.

Its for bullet seating. Because the ram is straight moving, the potential play in a conventional press is eliminated. It’s also about portability and tactile feedback. You have the ability to transport for reloads on the go or load testing and tuning at the range for example. They arguably have better concentricity, plus the tactile feedback to sense neck tension, and seating force.

Lots of articles online if you need to be convinced, but the cool kids have one – great present for the grandkids.
